Yay.. I finished the Book Challenge that I ot myself into this year. Read 20 or more books but the below list shows the 20 of them i made a list of just for this post. :) My last book in this challenge was "Cart Before the Horse" and it was a nice read. Lot of great moments in the book and I loved the "Happily ever after" ending. :)
I am so excited about this month as its December!!!! Can't believe days are flying and we are already ready to welcome 2015.!!! I am looking forward to a wonderful year that would teach me lot of things I'm sure. 2014 has been great and bitter at times. Which year goes by only with happiness, tell me. The bitter situations obviously teach us lot more than the happier ones. I have definitely become a better and stronger person this year and hoping the new year brings in lot of love and happiness and give me strength to face the bitter ones.
I have also just put few pics of my year 2014. Its a bit too early for me to be writing this post since its just 8th of December, but who cares? :)

Congratulations on finishing your book challenge successfully Kavya! It must be a very satisfying experience indeed. I can relate, as I set myself a similar target of 20 books at the start of the year. But until June the no. of books I had read was a big 0. Suddenly I started in July and maintained a run rate of almost 4 per month until Sept, after which I fell back again. I will end up somewhere with 13-14 I guess. But one thing I will be proud of is the diverse range of books I read. I will post something on that at the end of the year for sure. Do read..
ReplyDeleteBtw, there is nothing common between your book list and mine..:) Maybe I will try Lolita, a timeless classic. Another thing that I liked about your list was about the book called 'A million little pieces' that you read. I don't think I could have read another of the same author if i came to know that he had lied about many things. But you did.. because the point is to seek inspiration from the fight the author put up against his adversity, not the very minute details.. Wish you a happy and prosperous new year to you and your hubby Kavya! :)
